Athletics Carnival

Our Senior students had a fantastic day at our District Athletics Carnival! We looked super smart in our new sports tops and got to catch up with some old friends from Meredith, Anakie and Lethbridge Primary schools. Our students gave their best efforts all day and even came home with a few ribbons?❤️

Harvest Time!

It's harvest time!
Our Juniors had a wonderful afternoon picking our crop of potatoes and tomatoes ??? and our feijoas and passionfruit should be ready soon.
Such valuable lessons to be learnt from growing your own produce!

ANZAC Biscuits

Combining history and cooking last week.
ANZAC biscuits are not only delicious but have a fascinating history. Our students loved learning more about their origins whilst cooking up a huge batch to share with their families ❤

Hockey Geelong Visit

A huge thanks to Claire from Hockey Geelong! Our students loved working with her to learn more about this great game.

Shelford Rec Reserve Playspace Upgrade

Our students have been asked to provide their thoughts on the the Shelford Recreational Reserve Playspace upgrade. They clearly articiulated their opinions on what should be included and gave insights about our wonderful town. We look forward to seeing the draft proposal!

Acknowledgement

We acknowledge and respect the traditional custodians whose ancestral lands
Shelford Primary School is located on. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and emerging young leaders, and learners of today.

We also express our gratitude that we share this land today, our sorrow for some of the costs of that sharing, and our hope and belief that we can move to a place of equity, justice and partnership together.
