Shelford Primary School aims to provide the very best education possible for our students in a safe, secure and happy environment. School staff, parents, students and community, work together to develop broad thinkers who can apply their skills, attitudes, values and knowledge in a changing world.
Our Seniors had a wonderful time at our Lightning Premiership last Friday! Everyone displayed fantastic sportsmanship and gave their best efforts all day!
Our Year 3s had a wonderful time last week at their very first school camp! They showed great resilience and a 'have a go' attitude. Highlights included the Giant Swing, archery rock climbing and making new friends from Meredith, Anakie and Lethbridge Primary Schools who join us on all of our camps.
When is a box not a box?... When it's turned into a car, ship or a caravan! Our Juniors loved reading 'Not a Box' by Antoinette Portis and then creating their own version. It was a joy to have them read the wonderful stories they wrote all about their 'Not a Box'!
A huge THANK YOU to all of the amazing Education Support staff who work tirelessly in our schools, especially Carol and Sophie
Our gymnastics sessions have now concluded. Oh what fun we had! Every Thursday, we would travel to the YMCA in Bannockburn for our gymnastics sessions. It was wonderful to see our students skills improving and confidence growing each week.
Our students had a wonderful afternoon in the garden planting our new winter crop! We cant wait to see them grow into tasty, healthy veggies! This year we have 2 types of cabbage, carrots, beetroot, onions, brocoli and cauliflower, YUM
