We engage in an afternoon of STEM activities every week, through our MARC Van and classroom curriculum program. Students are provided with open ended tasks which allows them to design and trouble-shoot their creations to develop their problem solving skills and creative thinking. Some of the design challenges we have undertaken have been our very own ‘Shelford PS’ version of Lego masters, where students are presented with a build challenge and had to ensure their builds met certain criteria. Our students have also explored and created Rube Goldberg Machines within a creation challenge.
Have a look at one of our Rube Goldberg Machines down below!
