Health & PE

 

All students participate in 2 sessions of Health and PE each week. Students are taught to develop and refine their fundamental motor skills and apply them within games to enhance their communication and teamwork.   Our Juniors and Seniors engage in targeted PE skills sessions lessons to ensure each student is supported at their point of need. As a whole school, we join together to play and learn the rules and tactics of games such as netball, cricket, hockey, tennis and lacrosse.

 

In Health each week we look at ways to stay healthy and safe, in and out of school, and we also engage with the Respectful Relationships and Resilience program to build our students social and emotional literacy, coping skills and build their sense of identity.
