Shelford Duck Race

Sunday 23rd February 2025 from 11:00am till 4pm.

The Shelford Duck Race is the school’s major annual fundraiser. We are proud to work with our wonderful community partners, the Shelford Cricket Club and Shelford Progress Committee, to organise and promote this fantastic community event.

The 2024 event marks our 11th anniversary of this fun event and is expected to attract around 3000 people. The day will see a fantastic family day enjoying country hospitality and fun with so much to do and see for the whole family. There will be market stalls, gourmet food, local wines and craft beers and entertainment all afternoon with the highlight being the Shelford Duck Race.

The Duck Race will see hundreds of rubber duckies let loose in the Leigh River, here hundred’s of spectators will cheer on their ducks to the finish line and hopefully take home a prize. The duck race is so much fun for people of all ages, especially the young.
